Is it an iron?
Is it an iron?
Is it just "on" or "off" or does it have different "speeds"?
Is it a curling iron?
does it have to be used in conjunction w another object?

It has to be used in conjunction with another object.
It doesn't have speeds.
It is hand held.
It can only be operated manually.
It often has lights on it, but not always.
It is used to perform a task; whether or not it is a household task is up for debate.
It is used indoors.
It is powered by electricity.
