Sorry Ringo-had to do a job today so I couldnt play and take that win from you-I'll try to get there tommorow and give you some sorrow.

RG and I had a terrific HU for like 40 minutes until the blinds got to 700 and then I got those lucky 6-4 cards

Finally stopped the bleeding and took one down. What's funny, is that I was in a heads up war for $20 in another room. So I dont have a clue how this happened.Was just trying not to sit out till I took the other one down.(Actually 4 at once) Wasnt being rude not chatting, just no time. Think I've found my new winning strategy!

I had you down to small stack, and then my cards died and yours went live-couldn't match any of mine or beat your cards and you played them perfectly. Congrats on a well played game.

That is true, but if you hadn't done such a good game playing before that, I would have had the chips to last. But with a couple good hands and play you sucked off my chips so that when the bad times came, I didn't have enough to last and come back. Very good playing Jeff.
I HATE to lose, but when it is against such good playing it takes a little of the sting out of it.

I did feel good considering a few hours earlier I went all in from the button with AK and 33k and a 5k blind and the BB calls me with 45 and pounds me.

when 89 beats ak suited with a river 8-and that is how these games have going for the past week and a half--I will be taking a leave of absence for a few days-let PS reset the kind of cards I am dealt--seems if you leave for a few days you start to get hands again when you return-so good luck all in my absence. I shall return.

Indeed. We were on vacation this past week. Getting caught up today and will send a PM to all winners while I was away.

Ringo has this idea.Sit out 10 hands and then the cards change sides HU. lol What you talking about Taker? You would be raising 4XBB with 8-9. I had tripps and you took me out a couple games ago with 8-9 hitting a str8. lol
I have to say i actually had too long HU experiences recently with Cat and Kitty. Must have lasted like 15 minutes and that is some kind of record.

Jeff, was getting tired of folding to your all ins in the HU, so when I found that suited cards with a king, had to call and see what you had - you never showed yours cards on those all ins so thought it was a few bluffs to win the blinds and had enough chips to see and try to keep you honest-thankfully your suited was smaller than mine and I hit.

Lucky kept coming back and coming back, but at last got a couple better hands and won the HU--good game of Hu lucky

Poor Bessie
An old farmer named Bruce had a car accident. In court, the trucking company's fancy lawyer was questioning Bruce. "Didn't you say at the scene of the accident, 'I'm fine,'?" asked the lawyer.

Bruce responded, "Well, I'll tell you what happened. I had just loaded my favorite mule, Bessie, into the......"

"I didn't ask for any details," the lawyer interrupted. "Just answer the question. Did you not say, at the scene of the accident, "I'm fine!'?"

Bruce said, "Well, I had just got Bessie into the trailer and was driving down the road...."

The lawyer interrupted again and said, "Judge, I am trying to establish the fact that at the scene of the accident, this man told the Highway Patrolman on the scene that he was just fine. Now several weeks after the accident he is trying to sue my client. I believe he is a fraud. Please tell him to simply answer the question."

By this time, the Judge was fairly interested in Bruce's answer and said to the lawyer, "I'd like to hear what he has to say about his favorite mule, Bessie."

Bruce thanked the Judge and proceeded, "Well... as I was sayin', I had just loaded Bessie, my favorite mule, into the trailer and was drivin' her down the highway when this huge semi ran the stop sign and smacked my truck right in the side. I was thrown into one ditch and Bessie was thrown into the other. I was hurtin' real bad and didn't want to move. However, I could hear ole Bessie moanin' and groanin'. I knew she was in terrible shape just by her groans.

Real soon a Highway Patrolman came on the scene. He could hear Bessie moanin' and groanin', too. So, he went over to her. After he looked at her, he took out his gun and shot her between the eyes. Then the Patrolman came across the road, gun in hand, looked at me, and said, 'How are YOU feeling?'

Now what the heck would you say?"
