Pffft, get better things to do on a tuesday!!!! j/k
Game tonight at 7:00 PM ET!
Thanks to those who showed up today.
Unfortunately we had a ton of people sitting out and it screwed up the game, but I'll try to curb that from now on.
For all future games, if you register and sit out, I will remove you from the poker club.
Please only register if you plan to play.
I regester days in advance and can easily forget and would hate to lose my league status for that
The solution is have registration only 2 hours before game
also we had a terrific 4 man game after 25 min of blind taking and sharing
nothing wrong with that and the player with the most chips went out 1st
If you register for something, it's your responsibility to show up for it.
Congratulations to Mikejjc on winnings tonight's game!
Mikejjc - Please send me a private message to let me know who you are!
can u set it to only allow registration half hour before?
LuckyRg2 at PokerStars. It was one of my 1st poker sites ever and i couldn,t think up a name.Maybe it served me well as you didn,t know who I really am because I have played against most of you here and there over the Years many times.
I have stuck to my nickname Rgchan everywhere else for years.RG are my initials and i just added on Chan(Johnny Chan).I,m sure now many of you know who I am.I,m totally a WASP but sometimes when players at the tables lose they will call me a Chink.. etc. lol
RE: The sit-outs were bad news.Always bad.At my table I was HU most of the time and one player sat in and sat out.It makes it bad for the points structure because you don,t want to go out before the other 4 sit-outs at your table. It changes stragedies. One thing i liked about Absolute Poker if you hadn,t played a hand after the 1st level increase you were auto booted out of the tournament.

Couldnt believe it when I arrived 15 min. late and had already blinded out.
Hey Boss, I understand your position but I want you to consider mine. I fully intended to play but I knew I'd be WORKING a little later than usual. So I registered, thinking I would just post and fold a few if I was late. I ended up having to work even a little later than expected and, like Cat said, we blinded out very quickly. So I missed it. I was one of the *** holes.
I'm sorry. Really. I am. But I'm self employed and work has to take priority. Wouldn't you agree? And do you really want to kick me out for that?
I won't register again if there's even A CHANCE I might not be in my seat at game time. If that's what you want. But it seems a little ridiculous to me. After all, it's just a game. And I know the game's are small but is late registration an option? Just in case I'm 2 minutes late?
I can tell you're pissed and now so am I. I don't want to be called irresponsible because I had to work late. These are supposed to be fun. And they are. So what do you say? Virtual bro hug and we BOTH relax a little bit?
ok...I'm registered and now I am waiting to be accepted.![]()
Once I'm accepted, How do I actually register for the tournament?
Geoff :
-best name ever!
-should be the name of choice that parents give their son if they wish him to be awesome!
-describes the the ultimate 'bro'!
Geoff is a handsome and available Renaissance man best known for his sense of humour, wit, and incredible A**. Geoff plays 83 different musical intruments, holds the world record for the most weight ever calf-pressed, has flown a fighter jet around the world blindfolded, ranks first in the world in both laser tag and good looks, and invented that chariot thing for cripple dogs. Geoff is legendary!
Congratulations to Bredstik on winning today's tournament!
I'm afraid I disagree with your post in its entirety. I'd much rather you not register than register knowing in advance that you're going to be late.
We're obviously not playing for big money, but I've never taken a position on anything in life where I didn't meet my obligations because there wasn't much on the line.
We can't control registration options (it's not a possibility within the software), so I have to be strict on people sitting out because it's extremely annoying and it ruins it for those who were responsible enough to show up. If this was 1 or 2 players per game none of us would mind, but when it's 80% of the field then something has to be done about it.
From this point onward, I will "suspend" any players sitting out for more than just the first few hands. Those players can then send me a private message if they'd like to be reinstated. I'll gladly do so, but it will be a one time thing, and the next action will be removal from the club.
I think that's a fair solution.
I'd much rather have 3 people register who are going to play than have 14 people register with 11 of them sitting out.
