Why is Poker Strategy Important?

You might hear some say that playing poker is simply a game of chance - that Lady Luck determines who wins and who loses. They are not wrong as luck does play a part in poker games. This is not a game where you plan like chess - poker has a random element in it, so much so that many players have been heard to say, "I'd rather be lucky than good."

So it is and you can not argue with this.)
