Poker Tips Please?

Hi everyone, I am newbie. I just want to know about the strategy that you guys used in playing poker? I just got tired of playing blackjack and baccarat, I am planning to play poker in the future. :confused:

Here are some good tips, hopefully this will work ----

- Your goal should be to make the best possible play every time. The closer you come to this, the better your results will be.
- Know the rules and know when it’s your turn to act.
- Drop the hammer, always drop the hammer. There’s no better feeling in poker than taking down a pot with 7-2, the worst starting hand in no-limit Hold ’em.

Thank you, I will try to keep it in mind. Hoping that I'll be able to master poker in no time.

Watch who's playing aggressively or in a loose way (betting hard, playing a lot of hands) and who's playing tight (folding quickly, only playing good hands). Only go up against the tight players if you’ve got a strong hand.
