Playtech Blackjack Rules

The aim of Playtechs Blackjack like every other game of Blackjack is for the total of your cards to be closer to 21 than the dealer's cards, without exceeding 21, but you probably.

As normal all of the Aces can count as either 1 or 11, and all the face cards are worth 10, all of the remaining cards are worth their face value

When you get dealt an ace and a ten-value card as your first two cards, you have what is called a Blackjack and you will win one and a half times your bet (if you bet was $100, you receive $250).

If the however the total value of all your dealt cards is closer to 21 than the dealer's hand, then you will win as much as you had wagered ie your bet was $100, so you will receive $200.

But should your cards total more than 21, you "bust" and lose your bet. If both you and the dealer have the same card total (17 and up) nobody wins and it is called a "push".

A Blackjack will always beat a score of 21.

Playtechs Blackjack game follows the Vegas Strip rules, but with the following differences:

After each game, the deck is always shuffled.

The player may not split a split hand.

The player may double after splitting.

The dealer will not check for Blackjack in any case.

If the player doubles and the dealer's first card is of value 11 (ACE), and the dealer gets blackjack, the player loses both his bets.

Splitting - If the two cards you have been dealt first both have the same value, you are free to split them into two separate hands, but you will then have to place another bet equal to the original bet. You will then be dealt more cards.

You are free to Hit as many cards as you like on each split hand, but if you split two aces, you receive only one additional card for each ace.

If you receive an ace and a ten-value card in a split hand, it is counted as 21 and not Blackjack.
